Don’t all our driving ponies look smart harnessed up to their carriages! We are thrilled to be able to drive them all at the same time.
Although we have not had any clients this block, because of the cold weather, we in the carriage driving team have not been idle. We have been busy training Mickey to pass his assessment, so that he can start taking clients; getting Boris fit so that he can take clients again in the next block; training our potential new drivers, Shauna and Judy; and also doing ongoing training with our volunteers.
A planned visit to Tentsmuir had to be postponed due to inclement weather, but we are taking Mickey to Crombie Park this week, and hope to take him on a drive in the grounds of Glamis Castle in May.
We are looking forward to driving with clients again in the next block, on Wednesday evenings and Thursday afternoons. We are always looking for new volunteers to help us out.
